Our featured guest will be Kirk Lewis, PISD Superintendent. He will be talking about the 2011 Bond Election and how it will affect North Pasadena if it passes. National Night Out

On Tuesday, October 4, residents across Pasadena will host parties, barbeques, parades, ice cream socials, games or other activities during National Night Out, as neighbors across our city and in communities throughout the state come together for an important purpose.

Our next NPBA Meeting will be held on Monday, August 8th, from 11:30 AM
- 1 PM. We will be back at the Pasadena Public Library, 1211 Jeff Ginn Memorial Drive.

Our speaker will be Josh Moreno, from ABC Family Dentistry. He’ll be talking about his upcoming partnership with Walmart, hosting the First Annual Hope and Education for Our New Generation back-to-school campaign. Please come and join us for the important meeting.

Feel free to bring your lunch or you may order something from Sprinkles
Cafe in the Library.

April General Meeting

Monday, April 11th for our next NPBA Meeting. Our speaker
is going to be Diane Schenke, President of the Greater East End
Management District. She will be talking about the the types of services
that they offer to businesses, such as security, graffiti abatement,
infrastructure improvement and workforce support.

As always, we will be meeting in the conference room at The Pasadena
Public Library, 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Dr., Pasadena. We will meet
from 11:30 am to 1 pm. You can order lunch from The Sprinkles Cafe inside the Library.

February’s General Meeting

Officer James Coker from the Community Services Division of the Pasadena Department will be our speaker for this important meeting. The PPD has many interesting meetings and workshops that he will discussing. He is going to give an overview of the programs and talk to us about office safety and security.

We will be having our regular meeting at Pasadena Public Library, 1201
Jeff Ginn Memorial Dr., in the Conference Room. We meet from 11:30 AM – 1PM. You are welcome to bring your lunch or order something from Sprinkles Cafe located in the Library.

Annual Christmas Tree Circle

Every year City Council Woman Jackie Welch & the Cultural Arts Committee heads up the Circle of Christmas Trees at Pasadena City Hall.

City Hall lights up with Christmas cheer in preperation of the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, This years NPBA Christmas Tree theme will be the Strawberry Stroll featuring logos of this year Stroll sponsors.

All visitors can vote on there favorite tree in the people choice.

September Beautification Award

The North Pasadena Business Association presented the September Beautification award to Advance Auto Parts located at 701 Southmore.

The award was presented to Advance Auto Parts due to their landscape and upkeep of their property. The assistant manager is Emily Cisneros.

The store opened in March 2008. There are 2 stores total in Pasadena; the additional store is on Fairmont.
